Need help in Dreamweaver CS5?

Now I create my websites with images inserted in AP Div's.. The problem i'm having is, when i publish it,the website is awkwardly placed computers with different resolutions. How can i have my website fit on all resolutions by AP Div's? I heard i have to do something in the code with a percentage? Im not sure.. thanks! :)
