CAN YOU BREAK YOUR WRIST ON GRASS?

I just wanna know I ent gonna do it but can you break your wrist on grass? My friend wants to know because she said when she was younger she only just remembers breaking her wrist. She wants to know if you can break it on grass because she thinks thats how she broke it . She said she done a handstand and went into a back bridge and landed on her wrist awkwardly. So can you????
