I'm socially awkward, I just have so much anxiety in public.?

Im 19, 135lbs, 5'9'', i have 3 tattoos one around my right elbow to my mid forearm others on chest and stomach. I have dreadlocks that have red tips and I wear ear gauges. The only positive thing I see about my life is my talent at skateboarding that ive been blessed with. In public I talk awkwardly though, i stutter, people look at me alot because they see Im trying rly hard not to sound nervous. A friend told me about a drug called Ativan, or Lorazepam. He said his bother takes 1mg before speeches and 1.5mg before presentations and stuff. I dont just wanna be a young guy asking a doctor for drugs, but I rly wanna be prescribed to a decent benzo pharm. How can I ask my doc to put me on lorazepam? Please help, and no flaming.
