..did he just tell me he loves me?! O.O?

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for four months as of yesterday. Today I was taking the bus in the morning and my friend was sitting beside me and he was on my other side. I actually forget what happened to be honest.. My friend said "oh yeah that's nice, something something but I love you" she meant this like that's what he would say to me.. I think he threw his gum wrapper at me. :p then I heard him say "ahaha, I love you" quietly and awkwardly, to me. I didn't say anything back.. O.O ..so..did he?
